To me good products need to be simple, regarding how basic or advanced they may be. The key to a good interaction is to understand what people want to do, what they really do and what really happens when they do something. It's important to understand the way information is perceived by the user. By understanding these elements the design becomes intuitive and natural.
The application of interaction design is not only useful for interfaces or websites, but also in aspects such as aesthetics and embodiment design.
During my Master of Science at the Technical University Delft I specialized in Design for interaction (DfI). Here I gained the skills and understanding required to be able to analyze peoples needs to enhance the interaction between them and their products.
